AceShowbiz - A documentary about eccentric funk icon Sly Stone and his band Sly & the Family Stone is in development.
"Dance to the Streaming Music" will feature interviews with members of the group, famous fans and other artists, and will centre on the revival of the 1970s supergroup over the past decade.
The project, being directed by Brady Spensor, is set to be released next year (19).
"When I was big enough to reach the piano, I thought that everybody had to do it in the world," a statement from Stone to Deadline reads. "This documentary is a chance to share my story with all the wide-eyed dreamers."
