Bringing Summer Rain to the stage for her 'Beautiful' performance, the 'Say Something' songstress is asking concertgoers to sing the tune to her shy 4-year-old toddler.

AceShowbiz - Christina Aguilera thrilled fans at a gig in St. Louis, Missouri on Tuesday night, November 06, by introducing them to her daughter.

The singer invited her four-year-old daughter Summer Raine to join her onstage while singing her 2002 hit "Beautiful" during the latest stop on her "Liberation Tour".

Aguilera also posted video of mum and daughter sharing the spotlight on Instagram.

In the footage, Christina asked, "Do you want to hear everybody sing?" before asking fans to belt out the hit tune.

"It's beautiful, Sum! You hear that? I love you guys," Aguilera then said, adding, "Summer, this was way before you were born..."

"Summer begs me to come out every night onstage! And then gets shy... but loves it... she's taking it all in early," Aguilera captioned the clip.

Christina is back on top form after scrapping two shows last month due to vocal issues. She also had to cancel a concert in Indio, California on 24 October due to "production related safety concerns" at the venue.

The "Liberation Tour", which is Aguilera's first in more than a decade, kicked off in September in Hollywood, California. She'll wrap up dates next week, beg November 12, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She recently confessed that touring is a lot different now she's a mum.

The 37 year old shares 10-year-old son Max with ex Jordan Bratman and her daughter with fiance Matthew Rutler, and both come out to join mum on the road.

"I'm ultimately Mama Bear, so whenever we check into a hotel, it's hard," she recently told Entertainment Tonight. "Sometimes it's four in the morning, but it's not all about me. It's different from touring when you're 21 years old. It's very narcissistic, and all you think about is yourself. All you have to think about is yourself, and now you're thinking about the blankies and the favourite stuffies and it's all the mom stuff."
