AceShowbiz - The next episode of "The Walking Dead" season 9 marks the last episode for Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). However, with the departure of Rick, fans seemingly are about to welcome the return of fan-favorite character.

The near-one-minute teaser for the fifth episode titled "What Comes After" features the last day of Rick. It opens with gravely wounded Rick riding a horse with a horde of walkers behind him. "I'm looking for my family. I feel like it's ending," he says in the teaser.

"We don't die," Danai Gurira's Michonne tries to convince him. Later the video sees Rick crossing a huge, unstable bridge, which he believes will literally and symbolically link all five communities, with walkers trailing behind him.

Jon Bernthal's Shane Walsh then makes a brief appearance. The teaser changes to a scene which sees Rick inside his cop car with Shane while eating sandwiches. It looks exactly like what they did in the show's the 2010 pilot episode. Is it Rick's hallucination?

The pilot episode reference doesn't stop there. Toward the end of the teaser, fans get a glimpse of Rick heading to a room that is eerily familiar to the one in the 2010 pilot episode. Limping, Rick is heading to a room which door reads, "Don't open, dead inside."

The official synopsis of the episode reads, "Rick is forced to face the past as he struggles to maintain the safety of the communities and protect the future he and Carl envisioned."

In the episode, Bernthal will join fellow former "Walking Dead" stars Sonequa Martin-Green and Wilson. The two will return as Sasha and Hershel, respectively.

"What Comes After" airs on Sunday, November 4 at 9 P.M. on AMC.
