AceShowbiz - Following her notable absence from New York Fashion Week, Kendall Jenner finally returned to the runway at London Fashion Week. The 22-year-old model made an appearance at the Burberry show on Monday, September 17.
Wearing the brand's signature beige hue from head to toe, Kendall looked confident and stunning as she walked in a coordinated outfit which made up of trousers, shirt and an embellished trench coat. She carried a beige purse and wore high-heel, open-toe matching boots.
Her appearance at the fashion show was met with praises from many peers in the industry, including Anna Wintour. British Tatler editor Richard Dennen, who attended the fashion show, posted a snap of the Vogue editor-in-chief sitting front row during the show. She could be seen smiling while looking at the older Jenner sister. "Anna smiled," he wrote in the caption.
Kendall's return came a month after she faced backlash for a comment she made in an interview with LOVE magazine. "Since the beginning we've been super selective about what shows I would do," she said. "I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f**k those girls do. More power to 'em."
"But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else," she continued. "The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back."
After the backlash, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star quickly took to Twitter to clarify her comments, saying that it was taken out of context. "It was intended to be entirely complimentary but unfortunately, my words were twisted & taken out of context," she said. "I want to be clear. The respect that I have for my peers is immeasurable!"
"I get to experience first hand their tireless commitment, their work ethis, the endless days, the lack of sleep, separation from family and friends, stress of traveling, the toll on physical and mental health," she continued in another tweet, "yet they still make it all look effortless and beautiful."
