The singer and actress says in an interview that she wants to collaborate with A. R. Rahman, saying, 'I think it would be beautiful to sing Bollywood.'

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez is keen to appear in a Bollywood film.

The superstar has an impressive career under her belt already, having released her solo debut album, Stars Dance, in 2013 and appeared in a number of films and TV shows.

Now, Selena has divulged that she is open to entering the Indian movie industry.

"I like A. R. Rahman's work. He is a global figure today. I would love to sing or be part of his compositions," she said in an interview with MTV, referring to composer and singer A. R. Rahman, who has sold more than 200 million albums and scored movies including Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire, a movie that landed him two Oscars in 2009 - Best Song and Best Original Score. "I think it would be beautiful to sing (in a) Bollywood (movie). I have been following a few musicians in India and I believe they are wonderful."

Selena, 26, released her last studio album, Revival, back in 2015 and has most recently been promoting animated movie Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, in which she voices the character of Mavis.
