AceShowbiz - Anna Camp never travels without framed photos of her husband Skylar Astin and their dog.

The Pitch Perfect star admits images of home and a favourite blanket help her prepare for emotional scenes when she's on location.

"It's definitely incredibly important," the actress tells The Talk. "As an actor, I'm always travelling and going to crazy places and usually ending up in corporate hotels or trailers that are really cold and stark.

"You have to be able to feel relaxed to access emotions when you're about to shoot a really important scene.

"Just to have good lighting or a comfy blanket or a picture of my husband or my dog, a good fuzzy pillow... it really really helps."
