Even though the 'Suits' alum will not have a maid of honor at the highly-anticipated nuptials, she will be joined by young bridesmaids and page boys.

AceShowbiz - Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding is only a few weeks away, more details of the highly-anticipated nuptials have been unveiled. While it has been confirmed that Harry has chosen Prince William as his best man, the "Suits" alum has decided not to have a maid of honor.

"She has a very close-knit circle of friends and she didn't want to choose one over another," a spokesman from Kensington Palace said on Friday, May 4. "All have been actively involved in helping her prepare for the day and will be there in the days beforehand. She's very happy to have their support."

Before the announcement was made, many believed that Meghan's stylist and close pal, Jessica Mulroney, would be fulfilling the role. Others rumored to be in the running for the role were Lindsay Roth, Meghan's best friend from Northwestern University, Heather Dorak, her former instructor in Los Angeles, and fellow actress Priyanka Chopra.

Although Meghan will not have a maid of honor at the royal wedding, she will be joined by young bridesmaids and page boys. The names of her page boys and bridesmaids will be announced days before the wedding, but Prince George and Princess Charlotte are expected to take on the roles.

Aside from the two announcements, it has been confirmed that Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, will travel with her by car to Windsor Castle before her dad, Thomas Markle, walks her down the aisle of St. George's Chapel for the ceremony. Ahead of the couple's nuptials, her parents will visit Harry's family.

Harry and Meghan will also welcome the family of his late mother, Princess Diana, to their wedding. All three of Diana's siblings will be present and Baroness Jane Fellowes will be representing her family to help celebrate the memory of Diana on the wedding day.
