AceShowbiz - %cStephen Colbert% took on %cDonald Trump%'s alleged affair with a porn star in the Wednesday, January 17 episode of "The Late Show". Trying to point out that the recently surfacing claims are true, the comedian recounted Stormy Daniels' explosive 2011 interview with In Touch magazine, which was conducted before she signed an NDA with the now-president of the U.S.
In the interview, Daniels said she met Trump at a gold tournament in Lake Tahoe in July 2006, four months after his third wife Melania gave birth to his youngest child, Barron. He asked for her phone number and invited her to dinner.
They had dinner in his hotel room and after she came out from the rest room, "he was sitting on the bed and he was like 'Come here.' And I was like 'Ugh, here we go,' " read another part of the interview. While Colbert thinks that Daniels has fond memories about that night, she said, "I actually don't even know why I did it..." She also described their sex as "textbook generic."
Colbert almost puked as he read Daniels' statement which claimed that Trump paid her "his highest compliment for a lover," calling her "someone to be reckoned with, beautiful and smart just like his daughter." Apparently concerned about %cIvanka Trump%, the host quipped, "Quick question: Can child protective services take custody of an adult woman?"
Colbert also likened Daniels' interaction with Trump that night to the President's relationship with Vladimir Putin. "...he let down his guard and became sheepish. It was almost like he was so taken with me that I could move him around like a puppet," she said in the interview. Colbert commented, "Well Stormy, now you know how Putin feels."
As reported before, Trump's lawyer arranged a $130,000 payment to Daniels a.k.a. Stephanie Clifford a month before the 2016 election to prevent her from going public with story about a consensual sexual encounter with Trump.
Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen denied reports about the alleged affair, but another porn star, Alana Evans, had confirmed the story.
