AceShowbiz - Kanye West has found himself a new career, a new report suggests. The 40-year-old hip-hop artist and reality TV star is now "flipping house," according to Life & Style, which claims that he's got inspired to take on more projects after selling the Bel Air mansion he shared with Kim Kardashian for $17.8 million, $8.8 million more than what he paid for it in 2013.
"The sale has gone to Kanye's head," a source tells the webloid, adding that Kanye "has glued himself to HGTV." After watching shows like "Flip or Flop", the "Gold Digger" hitmaker allegedly "sees himself as someone who could become the newest property guru, making hundreds of millions from flipping homes."
Kanye has spent more than three years renovating the Hidden Hills home he bought with his socialite wife Kim in mid-2014. It was previously reported that the music mogul had major plans for the mansion, including building a bowling alley, movie theater and a top-notch recording studio on the property.
"Kanye is obsessed with every single aspect of this house," a separate source told the publication. "He says it's like a work of art and that there's no detail too small for him to be involved in." Unfortunately, Kanye's constant tweaks kept delaying their arranged move-in date, and it allegedly made his wife frustrated.
"He's impossible to please and thinks nothing of changing direction midway and starting over," the source said of the rapper, who reportedly had scrapped his design for multiple pools in favor of a pond and had redone the master bedroom five times.
His alleged new career aside, Kanye has recently been reported to be preparing something which is poised to rival his wife's popular TV show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". He allegedly has been filming a self-produced documentary, but it seemingly makes his famous wife feel uneasy.
Kanye "wants to make the movie of his life-but just about him and his work, not Kim and his family life," a source previously said. "His vision is that it's going to be a cutting edge and 'real' documentary--all directed and produced by him." The father of two allegedly "thinks this is the ultimate in the reality TV--it's real life, and never been done."
