Rihanna never fails to surprise everyone with her ever-changing style. The "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" actress debuted eye-catching turquoise hair during an outing in Barbados on Saturday evening, August 5.

Rihanna flashed her cleavage as she donned a denim jacket which she left unbuttoned. She paired it with denim shorts and black boots. The "Where Have You Been" songstress accessorized with a pair of sunglasses and a white cap. Rihanna completed her look with blue-painted nails that matched her hair.

The "Work" hitmaker jetted off to Barbados to attend the annual Crop Over Festival. Although the event is important for her, boyfriend Hassan Jameel was nowhere to be seen. According to HollywoodLife.com, she "hasn't invited him because she doesn't want the pressure of having to look out for him and entertain him."

"She just wants to let her hair down and relax with friends," a source told the wesbite. "Attending the Crop Over festival is extremely important to Rihanna, she's proud of her roots and loves to give back by bringing publicity to her homeland."

The source explained that Rihanna could easily have fun without Hassan in Barbados. "Rihanna loves to party, and there is no better way to do it than on Kadooment Day. When she's in Barbados she's never hassled or bothered, everybody respects and loves her and allows her to do her thing," the source dished. "She gets to hang with family and friends, and she's allowed to just be herself…instead of having to play Rihanna the superstar."
