Reese Witherspoon Is a Single Mom With Three Male Housemates in 'Home Again' First Teaser

The movie, which marks Witherspoon's return to romantic comedy, follows a single mom who unexpectedly finds romance after letting three guys stay in her guest house.

AceShowbiz - A teaser trailer for %cReese Witherspoon%-starring romantic comedy "Home Again" has been released by Open Road. Directed by first-time director Hallie Meyers-Shyer, the movie follows a single mom named Alice Kinney (Witherspoon), who has just separated from her husband (%cMichael Sheen%). Her romantic life soon changes after she allows three young guys, played by %cPico Alexander%, %cJon Rudnitsky% and %cNat Wolff%, to stay in her guest house.

The teaser opens with Alice standing in front of the mirror and crying for an unknown reason. It later features a scene in which she describes herself as "a newly separated loser" and glimpses of her life when she shares a house with three male aspiring filmmakers. It seems like Alice will get very attached with Alexander's character, while Rudnitsky's character tries to conceal his feelings for Alice by saying, "I am not in love with her. I just love a lot of things about her. Like her face and her personality."

Recently separated from her husband, Alice decides to start over by moving back to her hometown of Los Angeles with her two young daughters. During a night out on her 40th birthday, Alice meets three aspiring filmmakers who happen to be in need of a place to live. Alice agrees to let the guys stay in her guest house temporarily, but the arrangement ends up unfolding in unexpected ways. Alice's unlikely new family and new romance comes to a crashing halt when her ex-husband shows up, suitcase in hand.

"Home Again" is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on September 8.
