Surprise! Park Yoochun of JYJ Is Getting Married in September
Celebrity

The singer will marry his non-celebrity girlfriend in September after he is discharged from military.

AceShowbiz - Park Yoochun of JYJ, formerly known as Micky Yoochun, is confirmed to be getting married to non-celebrity girlfriend in September after he is discharged from military service. His agency C-JeS Entertainment has posted an official statement regarding the marriage rumor.

"Park Yoochun will tie the knot with a non-celebrity this fall. The news already came out before detailed plans about the marriage are made so we want to be careful about revealing anything else. Park Yoochun will finish his duty in military this August," the agency said in an statement.

The non-celebrity fiancee is believed to be the granddaughter of Namyang Dairy Products' CEO named Hwang Ha Na, but the alleged fiancee denied the claims. She stated that she is "just a regular person" and "hasn't been in any relationship for the past year." The marketing department of the company added that they never heard anything about Ha Na getting married.

The public is shocked by the news because it has only been a year since the "In Heaven" singer was sued for sexual assaults by four different women in 2016. All women claimed to be raped by Yoochun although he was later acquitted of all four charges due to lack of evidence. The police eventually charged him with soliciting prostitution and committing fraud instead because it was proven that Yoochun did have sexual intercourse with the women and promise to pay them. Speculations that the singer was suffering from a mental illness also surfaced since the assaults happened in toilets.

With all controversies surrounding Yoochun, everyone is questioning the motive behind his marriage. One commenter says in an article on Naver, "Is this a shotgun wedding?" Another person comments, "Why would the woman marry him after knowing what he's done?"
