Netflix released four new feature-length episodes of "Gilmore Girls" on November 25. After the bombshell ending in the "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" episode titled "Fall" left viewers reeling, the creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and husband, Daniel Palladino, gave some hints about the possibility of more "Gilmore Girls" episodes.

"We really had a very specific journey in our minds and we fulfilled the journey," said Sherman-Palladino to The Hollywood Reporter. She further explained, "So to us, this is the piece that we wanted to do. And the whole thought about, is there more, is there more, is there more - this has to go out into the universe now." She added, "We've got to put this to bed and then whatever happens, happens."

The seventh season of "Gilmore Girls" didn't end the way the creators had always planned. That happened because the creators left the series due to a contract conflict. But now through this Netflix revival, they have the opportunity to finish the story the way they had always intended.

However, when Sherman-Palladino originally thought of "final four words," she said there was a small chance of doing a revival or a sequel. But viewers were speculating that the streaming giant would already ask her for more episodes.
