A new trailer for "Wonder Woman" has arrived for viewing pleasure, and it's full of new footage. Gal Gadot's Diana Prince leaves her home in Themyscira to join Chris Pine's Steve Trevor. "I cannot stand by while innocent lives are lost," she says. "It is our sacred duty to defend the world, and it's what I'm going to do."
The warrior takes orders from no one, fearlessly marching to the frontline while wielding her sword, unleashing her lasso and deflecting bullets. "I used to want to save the world, this beautiful place, but the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within. I learned this the hard way, a long, long time ago," she says.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, the DC movie is due June 2, 2017 Stateside. It follows Diana when she saves an American pilot who crashes on Themyscira and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world. Convinced she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home with him and discovers her full powers and her true destiny.
