Donald Trump tried to bring down President Barack Obama with his mean tweet, but he ended up being on the receiving end of a jab. On Monday, October 24, POTUS visited "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and read some mean tweets in the show's popular segment.
"President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!" read the tweet from @realDonaldTrump. Obama then responded, "Well, @realdonaldtrump, at least I will go down as a president." He then dropped the mic, or in this case, a phone.
The President also had perfect responses to some other mean tweets. "Barack Obama dances like how his jeans look," one wrote, to which Obama replied, "You know, this jeans thing - this is so... old. This was years ago. Come on."
Another tweeted, "Barack Obama... bro, do you even lift!?" Obama then quipped, "Well, I lifted the ban on Cuban cigars - that's worth something."
During a sit-down with Jimmy Kimmel, President Obama also talked about Donald Trump at the Presidential debates. He said he laughed at the Republican nominee "most of the time." The host then asked him about Trump's "locker room" talk with Billy Bush, "At that moment, did you know it was going to be as notable as it turned out to be?" The President responded, "Yes. Didn't you?"
