Britney says she almost died during a Hawaiian vacation when she got sucked into 'a 6-foot wave' in the ocean.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears opened up on a scary experience on a beach during her vacation in Hawaii. The singer revealed how "literally almost drowned." She joked during a BBC Radio 1 interview, "It was fun to say the least, and I got the experience of getting taken down by a 6-foot wave."

The mother of two recounted the incident, "I completely embarrassed myself. ... I went out and I thought it was, like, a wave pool, and I was like, 'This is so nice and refreshing and just beautiful.' But the thing I didn't think about is when you come back, the waves really come in hard."

"I got sucked under for, like, five minutes," she said. "And I'm like, 'Where is my security? They're just going to let me die here, you know.' And then I came in again and another wave took me under. They just kind of left me there. I think they knew I could probably survive my way through it."

Britney was not the only star coming to Hawaii this summer. Justin Bieber was there too and he stripped down completely naked during his getaway. "Did you see what happened to him, the other day, didn't he, like, expose himself?" she commented. "That was insane. I don't understand, like, what went on there. Was that on the news and stuff? ... Oh my God."

She then recalled her first meeting with the Canadian star. "He walks in my hotel room, and he was, like, a kid, literally," she said. "He looked like he was 13-years-old but he was 16 and I was like, 'Who is this kid in my hotel? Like, what is going on?' ... He's very unassuming, he is a very nice, kind boy and he is obviously way older now. He was extremely kind."

During the interview, Britney also took a jab at herself when discussing her past love life. "Never get married is number one," she quipped, seemingly referring to her failed marriages to childhood friend Jason Alexander and then to Kevin Federline. "That's probably the best advice I could give myself."

She now just enjoys spending time with her children. In fact, she credits them for helping her stay fit. "Actually just being a mom and being on the go 24/7 and being with your kids," she explained. "I think worrying makes you lose weight, too. I am not a believer of being a worrier but unfortunately, I am a mom so I do. It's one of those things. They keep you on your game."
