AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence has set her eyes on the controversial Theranos story for her next movie role. The Mystique of "X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to team up with director Adam McKay to bring the real-life story of the medical company to the big screen.
The Oscar-winning actress is expected to play Theranos' 32-year-old CEO Elizabeth Holmes, a Stanford dropout who founded the blood-testing company at the age of 19. She went to become the richest self-made woman as her company was valued at $9 billion.
Theranos drew millions of dollars in investment after claiming of being able to test blood with only a pinprick. However, the company is now under heavy scrutiny after claims of inaccurate blood tests. According to Forbes, Holmes' net plummeted from $4.5 Billion to zero.
