AceShowbiz - The first public preview of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" kicked off Tuesday evening, June 7. Around 1,500 lucky theatergoers were the first to see the hugely anticipated play at London's Palace Theatre in the West End.
Although plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, the official Twitter account for "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" shares the first photo of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The picture shows Hermione and Ron's daughter Rose Granger-Weasley (Cherrelle Skeete) at the center stage, surrounded by the familiar banners of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

J. K. Rowling previously asked preview audiences to refrain from spoiling the play. Each audience member was given a special button that read #KeepTheSecrets. According to a theatergoer, the play was thrown into chaos after a live owl apparently escaped.
