Ryan Reynolds has obliquely revealed the date of birth of his daughter James. The "Deadpool" actor took to Twitter on Wednesday, December 16 to tell his followers that his little daughter celebrated her first birthday.
"Happy birthday to my baby girl! Sad I lost my virginity. But thankful I have a daughter," the 39-year-old actor cheekily tweeted. Ryan and his wife Blake Lively had previously remained coy about the exact date of birth of their daughter since she was born last year.
Earlier this year, the hunky actor opened up about his new life as a dad. "I have no problem waking up five times in the middle of the night and changing diapers, and as exhausted as you get, I have this stupid grin on my face all the time," Ryan said in an interview with GQ magazine.
Regarding his daughter's first word, Ryan said on "CONAN" talk show, "[It's] all about mom," jokingly adding, "I am dead to her. That's her first words, ironically." He joked that James' preference for her mother was because she has breasts. "There's an unfair advantage there," he said. "It turns out that breasts are actually a life support system and the child seems to gravitate towards the breasts. I'm just the breastless a**hole wandering around the room and getting in her sight line every once in a while."
