The director assures fans, 'There is only going to be one actor playing Indiana Jones and that's Harrison Ford.'

AceShowbiz - Rest assured! Steven Spielberg confirms that he has no plan to replace Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones movie. "I don't think anyone could replace Harrison as Indy, I don't think that's ever going to happen," the director says to ScreenDaily.
"It's certainly not my intention to ever have another actor step into his shoes in the way there have been many actors that have played Spider-Man or Batman. There is only going to be one actor playing Indiana Jones and that's Harrison Ford."
"Indiana Jones V" is rumored to see the hero passing the torch to a young adventurer and giving advice to the new generation. In 2008, the last Indiana Jones movie titled "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" followed him searching for a telepathic crystal skull with his sidekick/son played by Shia LaBeouf.
