So, what personal issue were you dealing with, Justin Bieber? After canceling some scheduled TV appearances, the Canadian heartthrob surprised the crowd at The Chainsmokers' recent concert at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium when he showed up at the venue.
He jumped onto the stage and performed three new songs from his "Purpose" album, including "Sorry" and "Where Are U Now". During his unexpected set, the Biebs expressed excitement to be performing with the DJ/producer duo, whom he called one of the most "talented" people in the game.
"I'd just like to say, it's such an honor to be here performing with The Chainsmokers," he said in front of the audience. Later, he shared on Instagram a photo of him standing on the stage with his back facing the camera while the crowd members were taking pictures of him.
Prior to making surprise visit to The Chainsmokers' show, Bieber announced via Twitter that he'd canceled his "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" appearance as well as a performance for the 89th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
"My apologies to @colbertlateshow as I won't be able to make it to nyc tomorrow for the show. I look forward to making it up to you soon," he wrote at that time. "@StephenAtHome thank you for the understanding as sometimes life kicks our ass and we need to deal with it. I will see u soon. Thank you." He didn't give more details.
