Following its debut at New York Comic Con over the weekend, the first teaser for "Daredevil" season 2 is now officially released online. While its content was previously revealed via the bootleg video, the official one gives a clearer look at Elodie Yung's Elektra.

In the video, Elekra is seen pulling a fabric mask across the lower half of her face. It also offers a glimpse of Jon Bernthal's The Punisher from the back as he walks down a hospital corridor. Meanwhile, Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) is featured looking at an x-ray of a skull and Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) is wearing a hospital garb.

There's also a shot of the Man Without Fear himself (Charlie Cox) and his friends, Karen and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), looking somber in a church. "Why do I still feel guilty?" Matt says.

At the NYCC, new co-showrunner Marco Ramirez promised a darker season 2. "You wanted grounded, you wanted dark, here's Elektra, here's Punisher," he said with a laugh. Co-showrunner Doug Petrie added, "Last year, Steven [DeKnight] and Drew [Goddard] did a great job of introducing that world... This year, we get to test that world, take it further, [make it] darker, more emotional."

Slated to arrive in 2016, the second season of the Netflix/Marvel series added Stephen Rider as a series regular. He will play Blake Tower, a District Attorney for New York City who will help Matt Murdock with information to help track down and capture criminals.
