Several Little Big Town shows aren't taking place as planned as member Jimi Westbrook needs to undergo a vocal cord surgery. The country group announced in a statement posted on their Facebook page on Wednesday, June 17 that they'd canceled or rescheduled all concerts through July 30.

Westbrook is currently on vocal rest and will undergo surgery next week to remove a polyp from his vocal cord. "Doctors have ordered him to rest his voice and completely recuperate before we continue touring," they explained.

"It breaks our hearts to let you guys down, but Jimi's health is the most important thing and he is expected to make a full recovery with rest and treatment," they added. "Thanks for your understanding and support."

Little Big Town is on their ongoing "Pain Killer" tour. The canceled dates include stops in Las Vegas, Albuquerque and Hinckley. The group, meanwhile, is now enjoying the success of "Girl Crush" which has been topping Billboard's Hot Country Songs Chart and become the second-biggest-selling country song of 2015.
