AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter on Friday, May 15 to hit back at racist commenters who said she's "trying to be black" by eating Popeyes. Khloe and Kylie Jenner previously posted some pictures of them enjoying Popeyes on private plane with their mom Kris Jenner and friends.
Khloe wrote, "Seeing some of the stories/comments in regards to my Instagram. How is any one 'trying to be black' because they are eating food? I wasn't aware that food was limited to a certain skin color... I thought food was not specific to skin color but to humans in general."
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star added, " 'To break bread together,' a phrase as old as the Bible, captures the power of a meal to forge relationships, bury anger, provoke laughter."
Some of Khloe's fans showed their support for her. @ilovekhloeKO wrote, "@khloekardashian most ridiculous thing I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!!" @KhloeKFanxo tweeted, "This is the world we live in. People are so judgmental these days." @natasha69736950 added, "Thats crazy food is food people need to realize wats going on in the world besides stupid things."
On Thursday, Khloe posted a photo of her, Kylie and Kris eating popeyes along with their friends on private plane. "Popeyes and PJs!!!!!!" she captioned the photo.
Kylie also shared a similar photo and another picture showing her carrying a super-size bag of Popeyes when she and Khloe were boarding the private jet.
