Columbia Pictures announced on Tuesday, February 17 the addition of Felicity Jones into the cast ensemble of its upcoming movie "Inferno". The Oscar-nominated actress has been cast to portray the role of Dr. Sienna Brooks. Tom Hanks would be returning as Robert Langdon.

"When Robert Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks, a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague connected to Dante's Inferno," so read a synopsis of the movie. In addition to Jones, the studio has recruited the likes of Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, and Sidse Babett Knudsen.

As for Khan, he will be playing the role of Harry Sims a.k.a. The Provost. Sy will portray Christoph Bruder, while Knudsen will play Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey, head of the World Health Organization.

"Inferno" is based on the fourth book in the franchise after "Angels & Demons", "The Da Vinci Code", and "The Lost Symbol". The latter book was not made into a film though.
