Justin Timberlake pours a bucket of ice water on his head as he takes part in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge which is a part of charity. The "Mirrors" singer took to Facebook on Tuesday, August 12 to share a link video of him completing the challenge. The former member of NSYNC accepted a challenge from two Boston Bomber survivors, Patrick Downes and Jessica Kensky, then nominated Jimmy Fallon and The Roots to do it.

"#ALSIceBucketChallenge. Thanks #PatrickDownes & #JessicaKensky for nominating me and The Tennessee Kids. We now nominate 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and The Roots...You've got 24 hours to donate AT LEAST $100 or douse yourself with ice. (Or both. We did both...and then we donated a bunch more. It's such a good cause.)," he wrote, before adding a link to donate.

Questlove, who is a member of The Roots, apparently was ready to finish the task. He took to Instagram to accept the challenge, sharing a photo of an orange bucket with the words "Let's do this" written on it. "Hey Timberlake $&++!!!! @justintimberlake @jtimberlake #ALSIceBucketChallenge," he captioned the snap.

Ansel Elgort, Kate Mara, Lance Bass, Matt Lauer and Martha Stewart are among celebrities who have dumped a bucket of cold water on their heads. "I just did the ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE! I gave 500$ today to ALS research you should give too," the actor of "The Fault in Our Stars" tweeted a few days ago. "I got nominated to do one of these challenges and at first I thought it was dumb, but then I realized that it was for a good cause. Raising money for ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease."
