HBO has debuted a sneak peek at the upcoming third season of its hit comedy, "Girls". The video opens with Hannah, Adam and Shoshanna going on a hike as Adam says, "The glory of God is all around us, Hannah." Hannah isn't excited, though, telling him, "Yeah, but you know what Adam? It's really liberating to say 'no' to s**t you hate."

The trailer then offers quick looks at what issues the characters are dealing with this time. Hannah still tries to balance love and work. She appears to have a hard time at work but finds consolation in Adam as the two are seemingly back on together again.

Marnie still comes to terms with her being single, but convinces herself and her friends, "I am okay." Ray still can't get over Shoshanna, while Jessa tries to figure out why her friend faked her death to stop hanging out with her. The girls apparently are going to take a trip together and in a lighter moment, Hannah twerks on a tombstone.

At the 2013 MTV VMAs, Allison Williams who plays Marnie teased what to expect from the new season. "I think it's a very funny season," she said. "I think it's pretty lighthearted, but also it's just the third year in a row you get to see these girls, so I think people have gotten to know us pretty well by now and so you get to see different dimensions of all of us."

"Girls" season 3 premieres Sunday, January 12 at 10/9c on HBO.
