Disney and Lucasfilm have shared another sneak peek from "Star Wars Rebels". At the New York Comic-Con on Saturday, October 12, they unveiled the first look at the new animated series' "marquee villain" and the first new villain since the Disney takeover, the Imperial Inquisitor.

Described as an "intimidating figure," the Inquisitor who is dressed in an all-black outfit wields a double-bladed lightsaber with four Stormtroopers standing behind him in the image. He's hired by Darth Vader to hunt down the Jedi who survived the events of "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith".

"Star Wars Rebels" takes place between the events of "Revenge of the Sith" and "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope". It is set in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape.

It will premiere as a one-hour special on Disney Channel in fall 2014 before airing as a full-fledged TV series on Disney XD. No official voice cast members are announced although David Oyelowo and Freddie Prinze Jr. were reported close to signing up for the show back in September.
