A rep for the 'Guys Do It All the Time' hitmaker states that the Nashville memorial has been set to honor the late singer, but the exact date and location are still unclear.

AceShowbiz - A memorial service for Mindy McCready is already in the works, the late singer's representative confirmed on Monday, February 18. Mindy's "friends in music" have planned to organize a tribute to the country singer in Nashville. However, the exact date and location of the memorial service are still unclear.

In the Monday statement, the rep said, "To complement formal family arrangements, preliminary plans are being made by Mindy's 'friends in music' to organize a memorial in Nashville in the coming days."

Mindy was found dead in her Arkansas home on Sunday. She was 37. The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office later issued a statement to confirm the singer's death. "Ms. McCready was pronounced dead at the scene from what appears to be a single self-inflicted gunshot wound," it said.

"At this time family members have been notified of the incident. Ms. Mcready will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and the matter will be fully investigated."

Mindy's death news came as a big surprise since her boyfriend, David Wilson, had just passed away at the age of 34 around a month ago. There was no specific details on the cause of his death, which caused Mindy's life to go on a downward spiral.
