The picture teases an 'important rehearsal' of a fight scene, which involves 'an unexpected pairing, whose war of words is almost as full-on as the fight.'

AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" season 3 has been filming in Northern Ireland, and HBO's blog Making Game of Thrones has shared the first picture from the set. The photo doesn't give away much besides a look at the back of a man in the woods, but the description reveals that the scene is set in the forests of Clandeboye, on a Wednesday afternoon in August, during which "a man and his wife were walking their dog and heard the sound of a fight."

Claiming that the image captures an "important rehearsal," the blogger teases that the fight scene involves "an unexpected pairing, whose war of words is almost as full-on as the fight." A special weapon is said to have been created "for this scene alone, and there was a nervous moment when it was first tested against the wood of a massive tree stump and the body of one of our brave stunt guys."

The blogger further calls the scene "a character-defining scene, for more than one who is involved, so it has to be done well." Teasing more from the scene, the blogger reveals, "The couple asked what was happening, and looked on for a while, but were gently guided toward the path."

In addition to Northern Ireland, the third installment of "Game of Thrones" will be filmed in Croatia, Iceland and Morocco. Scheduled to debut on March 31, 2013, it will feature a bunch of new characters, namely Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds), Jojen Reed (Thomas Sangster), Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick), Brynden Tully a.k.a. the Blackfish (Clive Russell) and Olenna Tyrell a.k.a. the Queen of Thorns (Diana Rigg).
