Kristin Chenoweth is giving a funky touch to classic song "This Little Light of Mine" in a new clip from "GCB". In the next episode of the ABC freshman, her character Carlene is up against Miriam Shor's Cricket to win the role of the Holy Spirit in a church musical.
Carlene interrupts Cricket's audition by showing up on the stage halfway of the latter's rather conservative performance. Carlene tries to overshadow her own friend by delivering a unique version of the gospel children's song and bringing a boombox to support her rendition.
In "Pride Comes Before a Fall" that will air Sunday, April 15 at 10/9c, Leslie Bibb's Amanda is taking charge of the church musical which was written by Marisol Nichols' Heather in high school. Meanwhile, Jennifer Aspen's Sharon takes her "Losing it with Jesus" weight loss program to the next level and recruits Annie Potts' Gigi to help.
