According to the actor's great-aunt, he used to send Betty Russell flowers every month but he has stopped contacting her in the last four years.

Although he's looking out for his broods well, Brad Pitt reportedly has been neglecting his grandmother who lives in a sub-standard nursing home in Oklahoma. Betty Russell, who is approaching her 90th birthday, had made a public plea through Pitt's great-aunt Mary Ann Lanier who said the actor has not seen Russell for over four years.
"Betty misses him. He doesn't write, he doesn't seem to stay in contact with her," Lanier told The Sun, adding Pitt used to send his grandmother flowers every month and called to check on her. Russell's room reportedly is covered in pictures of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, mostly the Jolie-Pitts clan.
Lanier remembered Pitt and partner Angelina Jolie visited her in 2008 when Jolie was pregnant with the twins Knox and Vivienne. "The last time he came to Shawnee, Angelina was very pregnant. She was just great, just like a member of the family," Lanier continued. "There was no put-on airs or anything like that. She is a beautiful person. I'm pleased she is with Brad and pleased she's so concerned with children, that both of them are."
