Vivid Entertainment who holds the rights is suspending the sale because they now realize that Kim was not the mystery buyer.

Vivid Entertainment is not going to sell Kim Kardashian's sex tape, at least for now. The porn industry's head told TMZ that the offers were great but for the sake of appeal, they would hold on to it to find the buyer they favor.
"We were offered $20 million for the Kim tape but have decided that we are going to hang on to it ... for now," Hirsch said, adding "Although the offer that we ultimately received was substantial, when I realized that it wasn't Kim it became less appealing. Kim is a superstar and if it were to be sold, it should be to her."
Previously, it was thought that either Kim or her new husband Kris Humphries was the mystery buyer. "It made sense the entire time it would be Kim, but it appears it's not," Hirsch said earlier this month. Vivid is also asking $30 million for the tape.
