Elena confronts Damon about keeping some things from her, but she is not prepared to hear that Stefan will not return to her.

AceShowbiz - Damon makes Elena cry in a newly released clip from the first episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 3. The brunette beauty is seen angry at Damon for keeping some information from her, while they are supposed to be working together to find Stefan.
Damon then reveals that he has been tracking Stefan's victims, but Elena refuses to believe that her boyfriend is responsible for this. Looking impatient, Damon tells her to stop looking for his brother because he's gone and will not come back in her lifetime. He then walks out of the room, leaving her in tears.
The third season of "TVD" will premiere Thursday, September 15 at 8/7c on The CW with "The Birthday". It is set during Elena's 18th birthday and Caroline is busy planning a party. At another place, Klaus and Stefan are busy trailing a werewolf named Ray Sutton.
