AceShowbiz - Katy Perry is the "Mother", said the singer in one of "How I Met Your Mother" three new TV spots. Neil Patrick Harris quickly cut her off for spilling the biggest secret on the show.
Perry is the guest star in February 7 episode called "Honey", playing Zoey's cousin named Honey. According to CBS, Barney gets emotional when he opens up to Honey about his life. Zoey actually arranges a date for Ted with Honey but Ted realizes he has feelings for Zoey, and tells his friends he needs an intervention.
When asked by Rolling Stone whether she could portray the Mother, Perry answered, "I'm not allowed to say. I just did it basically because I'm obsessed with Neil Patrick Harris. He's really sweet, and the cast on the show was really nice to me and forgiving of my bad acting skills."
Back on January 15, Harris tweeted, "Worked with @katyperry today. Great times. She made me love my job. I'm a fan."
