The man with golden voice has been released from the police station because he and his daughter did not want to press charges.

AceShowbiz - Ted Williams, the former homeless man who is tasting fame, was detained by LAPD on Monday, January 10 night for "minor disturbance". The 53-year-old had an argument with his daughter, shouting at each other and disturbing the peace at the Renaissance Hotel.
A hotel employee called the cops and both Williams and his unnamed daughter were taken to the Hollywood station. The police investigated the incident but neither of them wanted to press charges against each other so they were released less than an hour later.
An update has just come from TMZ which found out from a law enforcement source that the argument between Williams and his daughter was over money. The man with the golden radio voice has been taking numerous jobs in the past few days and gone from living in a tent to a five star hotel.
Williams, who was married to Patricia Kirtley, claimed in interviews that he has nine kids.
Update : Williams and his daughter have both talked to ET to reveal truth behind the incident.
