TV

Sarah Palin's encounter with bears on her reality show "Sarah Palin's Alaska" which has been previewed briefly in its trailer is given a closer look in a newly-released clip. Sarah took her family for a salmon fishing where they came across two bears fighting as well as a mama bear and her cubs.

"Look! There's a bear!" Sarah said as they floated on a small fishing vessel and watched a bear splashing on shallow water. A mama bear then appeared with her two cubs and Sarah said in the camera interview, "I love watching these mama bears. What I see in that is what a mom would do too - anything and everything, laying down her life for her kids."

Then two adult bears began growling and fighting. "Oooh, he's tellin' him to get the heck outta here", Sarah commented. The former Alaska governor consequently asked her husband Todd to back up the vessel or else they would be "lunch".

"Sarah Palin's Alaska" will begin airing on November 14 on TLC as an eight-week travelogue. Kate Gosselin and her eight kids reportedly made a cameo in the series as guests visiting Alaska.
