'The Bachelor' who has one acting experience while he was young will basically play himself in the Lifetime series.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelor" star Jake Pavelka will finally do fiction for he has been cast to play a role in Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva". "I am honored to be a part of 'Drop Dead Diva' this season, and cannot wait to meet the cast and crew," Pavelka said.

He went in audition and right away won everyone's attention. "When Jake came into the office to audition for the role, the whole production came to a stop. Everyone wanted to talk with him. He was so gracious and charming. He was spot-on and won the role in the room," creator and executive producer Josh Berman recalled.

Pavelka, who once denied ex-girlfriend's claim that he is pursuing fame, will guest star as Toby Davlin. The character is a suitor on "Finding the One", a dating show which producer is being sued for "intentionally inflicting emotional harm" when Toby dumps one bachelorette for favor of another. The episode, called "Good Grief", will be shot on June 18 and air August 22.

This, however, is not the first time Pavelka does an acting job. He was cast as young Cordell Walker in 1999's "Walker, Texas Ranger".
