AceShowbiz - Amidst wedding rumors that heavily swirl, Lindsay Lohan's father and representative have denied that she's engaged to rumored lesbian lover Samantha Ronson. Denying speculation of an engagement, the father and representative have yet confirmed nor denied that they indeed are a couple.
Rumors have been rampant that Lindsay and Samantha are going to get married by the end of the year after Samantha reportedly cryptically telling partygoers during a gig at a top Los Angeles nightclub on Tuesday night, September 9 that she will wed Lindsay in the next sixth months. "By the end of this year, my love will be Mrs. Ronson," she publicly announced from her mixing desk at the Chateau Marmont.
Still playing it coy about her alleged romance with Samantha, Lindsay adds fuel to the persistent wedding talks as she's been spotted wearing a ring on her left hand. The actress-singer was seen flashing a heart-shaped sparkler as she hit the red carpet for the Stand Up For a Cure cancer fundraiser in New York on Wednesday night, September 10.
The ring she was seen wearing on her engagement finger is a diamond ring in the shape of a heart. She, too, was seen wearing the jewelry as she accompanied Samantha to a DJing gig in New York on Thursday, September 11.
While neither Lindsay nor Samantha has spoken about the questioned ring, father Michael Lohan denied the DJ has proposed to his famous daughter and presented her with the sparkler. "It's all BS," he stated, while furthermore insisting the engagement rumors are "not true."
A source close to Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan claimed the ring as "just one of Lindsay's cocktail rings, nothing more." The source went on revealing, "It's like her own personal joke these days. She slips a ring on that finger, then goes to a party and watches the rumors start to roll. It amuses her." A representative for Lindsay, moreover, has also denied that Lindsay and Samantha are engaged, adding that the ring is "an antique ring that she found at an antique store in N.Y.C."
