Ultimately brings answer to the question surrounding his character in "The Dark Knight", Aaron Eckhart, who plays district attorney Harvey Dent in the highly-anticipated project, has revealed for the first time to MTV News that he will also appear as Dent's alter ego Two Face in it.

"I play Harvey Dent. Harvey Two-Face. They are both in the movie," so the actor confirmed.

In another interview with DarkHorizons.com, Eckhart eagerly opened up the reason why he became attracted to play the dual part in the movie.

"There's several hooks for me, none of which I can talk about, but I will say that I like the character. I like playing this guy. This guy has likable attributes, characteristics," he remarked. "And it really, as in this whole Batman going through it, it's really a mirror of our times in a lot of ways. It's a comment on what's going on in the world today. And my character fits into that really nicely."

The follow-up to 2005's "Batman Begins" in the revitalized superhero franchise, "Knight" marks the return of acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan on the director's chair as well as scribe David S. Goyer who this time pens the script with Nolan's brother, Jonathan Nolan. Filming is currently underway for a tentative release date of July 18, 2008 domestically under Warner Bros. Pictures banner.
