What's new is that Walt Disney Pictures has acquired the rights to turn Alan Freedland and Alan R. Cohen's pitch, tentatively titled "Jack of All Trades", into big screen production.
The studio, furthermore, has set the film project for Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot to produce.
As of the story "Jack of All Trades" tells about a married dermatologist with a fondness for taking the easy way out who hires a handyman to cater to his wife and two children. Soon, the doc finds himself squeezed out of the picture, at least in his mind.
