Pop singer Britney Spears back in spotlight, but in somewhat unpleasant one. The singer has on Saturday afternoon April 8th, 2006 got a visit from Los Angeles child-welfare officials accompanied by deputies.
Despite the "very standard, routine patrol request," the visit in fact occurred after Spears' son Sean Preston was diagnosed with minor skull fracture. That's according to Star magazine.
Further the tabloid remarked that the baby boy injured March 31 in a high-chair mishap while in the care of his nanny in California. Spears and her husband Kevin Federline, were in Dallas at the time. As a result, Sean Preston sustained a "minor skull fracture and a blood clot."
So it seems that the visit has something to do with the incident. However, The Department of Children and Family Services could not be reached for comment.
