whereas something like “Stranger Than Fiction” toyed with similar ideas in an entertaining and fulfilling way, this movie does not. As an exercise, it fits as a forgettable festival selection, if little more than that
"Two/One" is lovely to look at, engagingly humane and surprisingly down to earth, at least until Juan Cabral's script lapses into overdetermination later on and the subtle magic fizzles out in a fog of tediously unanswerable practicalities
