it's flimsy, disposable, and worst of all, brutally boring; As a thriller, it is inept. It doesn't bother to hide clues or surprises. As cheap, throwaway entertainment, it's still inept... "Secret Obsession" is just bad-bad, and it's maddening
if "Secret Obsession" were a bit worse, it'd be worth watching as a head-scratching trainwreck. As it is, the only amusement to be derived from it comes from loudly yelling at the staggering stupidity of the characters
"Secret Obsession" does pretty much exactly what you expect it to, and presumably what you want it to; Overall, it's unremarkable -- even as a jumping-off point for a morbid thought exercise
