whilst the set-up may in many ways resemble a video game, with long sequences staged around twisty corridors and an improbable number of outbuildings, the tension is real; it's fun to watch as well – and sometimes surprisingly moving
lacking the polish of other entries such as "Birdman" and "1917", "One Shot" feels like a first-person shooter video game with the camera reversed for once
killing and blood in monotonous "one take" action movie; Presented in what appears to be a single long take, this action movie is expertly and impressively choreographed; too bad the same attention wasn't given to the dull story or flat characters
"One Shot" is merely an experiment in filmmaking chutzpah, and a failed one at that; But a trite, hack joke doesn't given enough credit to what the filmmaker and his cast attempt
