containing no mazes but plenty of running, the film takes the original's surviving characters and drops them into the middle of an entirely different type of movie, this one a desert-set zombie chase
"Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" follows on the heels of "The Maze Runner," repeating every flaw and failure in that first entry and adding a few of its own
