it's a manic, muddled delight that manages to enchant; all told in joyously messy manner; it does entertain bearing all the hallmarks of Terry Gilliam's gleefully barmiest projects
it may not be Terry Gilliam's masterpiece, but it is a movie with sprightliness, innocence and charm and it is a morale boost to anyone who cares about creativity that Gilliam has got the film made at all
