the script by Andy Callahan and direction by Randall Batinkoff efficiently checks off the requisite true crime drama tropes, but the smart money is on the strong performances of the cast, particularly Will Sasso's brow-mopping, pill-popping mastermind
the helmer.. delivering charismatic and emotional performances, but the rest of "Inside Game" feels awfully small, while immersion into the world of bookies and sports betting is a major "love it or leave it" element of the viewing experience
