In the latest preview clip from Bad Santa 2, Billy Bob Thornton reprises his role as the foul-mouthed, alcoholic department store Santa from the 2003 holiday classic. In this clip, Santa is visited by Thurman Merman (Kathy Bates), the mother of his former partner, Willie (Tony Cox). While Willie was in prison, Thurman married his cellmate, who is now a millionaire. Thurman gives Santa a chance to prove that he’s changed by asking him to deliver a Christmas present to her stepson. But, of course, things don’t go as planned.
