Main Cast

Stephen and Ricky ask Karl to decide what rules he'd enforce if he were in charge of society. Karl decides he wouldn't make crash helmets mandatory, and Ricky asks how he'd defend that decision to the children of a hypothetical motorcycle-accident victim. "Why didn't you make him wear a crash helmet?" Karl asks the grieving child. "He seems like a bit of a numb nut, to be honest." Ricky suggests sticking fat people in a cupboard and feeding them only carrots for a year to get them to lose weight, but Karl thinks that decision should be up to the family, not the government. Karl imagines how he would have reacted if he were Rosa Park's bus driver. When Karl describes an insect incident in his backyard, Ricky asks him incredulously why he'd stand up for a cricket against a wasp and not a civil rights hero.
